Over the years of air transport operation, OMNI has developed a strong safety-first culture, diffusing amongst the employees the idea that safety is everyone's responsibility and comes above any premise.
Along with Quality, Environmental and Health Management, Safety is one of the values that has led to our company's growth and respect amongst customers and staff.
We have invested heavily in safety, beginning with the maintenance of our aircrafts, with 145 approval, enabling us to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
One of OMNI's policies is to invest heavily in risk prevention and in the quality of information about safety available to our pilots and technicians. To this end we actively participate in national and international forums to analyze the causes of accidents and try to avoid future accidents by constantly improving procedures.
Two of the main programs which are part of OMNI's safety activities are Safety Case, consisting of case studies into safety, and Pro-Gresso, regarding Risk Management.
Investments have also been made in monitoring technology with flight-following systems, like Skytrac, which allows one to know in real time whether an aircraft is on land or airborne, as well as its position and course, amongst other information.
